Cat Cat Village is located about 3km from Sapa and a very touristic place. Here you will see the first power station built in Sapa by the French, an old time waterwheel used for grinding rice and learn how to forge a knife. There are interesting locals to meet on the way to a gorgeous cascading waterfall and the opportunity to see local singing and dancing.

You can reach Cat Cat Village easily on your own- we don’t want to sell you a tour for something you can do by yourself. However, if you would like a guided tour, you can book an English-speaking guide to explore Cat Cat Village at $15 US for groups of up to 10 people. The guide can tell you about the culture of the tribes living in the area and show you around the village.
